CrestBid vs ProjectMark

Both are construction CRMs. ProjectMark serves GCs, specialty contractors and A&E firms; CrestBid is built for subs bidding to GCs.

ProjectMark and CrestBid are both CRMs built for construction, so they overlap more than most tools on our comparison list. The biggest differences are who each is built for and how they're priced.

Competitor details checked October 2026 against each vendor's public website. Plans change; check the vendor's site for current details.

Where ProjectMark fits best

ProjectMark calls itself "The smartest CRM Built for Construction" and has pages for general contractors, specialty contractors, and architecture and engineering firms. Its site describes a standardized pipeline with every opportunity in one view, the companies, people and history behind each opportunity, forecasting of future wins and revenue, project qualification using your historical data, collaboration on proposals and RFP responses, and a mobile app with voice-enabled AI note taking. It lists integrations including Procore, Outlook and Gmail, plus a public API. Plans are Starter (up to 6 users) and Scale (up to 10 users), both with pricing on request, and Enterprise (10+ users) through its sales team. Advanced analytics and forecasting are listed in Scale. Integrations such as Vista, Procore, BuildingConnected and Adobe InDesign are listed as paid add-ons, and an Outlook plugin is included in Starter. It fits best for firms that want a full business-development CRM with forecasting and guided implementation.

What CrestBid is built for

CrestBid is built specifically for the subcontractor's bid to a GC: a Bid Inbox for invites from every GC and bid site, one project with every bidding GC, GC scorecards that flag when your number may be getting shopped, a Go/No-Go score, your hit rate by GC, and branded proposals with inclusions, exclusions and your SOQ. Pricing is published and you can start a trial yourself. Coming soon: a fit score on every invite in the Bid Inbox, lien waivers, pay apps with retainage, and QuickBooks Online.

Using them together

Most teams will pick one CRM. If you're a GC or an A&E firm, or you need revenue forecasting across a business-development team, ProjectMark is built for that. If you're a sub bidding the same jobs to many GCs, CrestBid is built for that.

Questions subs ask us

Isn't CrestBid just another fee?

Pro is $49 per user per month, and the Free plan (2 users, 50 open opportunities) costs nothing. The 14-day Pro trial doesn't need a credit card, and when it ends you drop to the Free plan unless you choose to pay. For most subs, CrestBid replaces the giant Excel sheet and the Outlook follow-up flags, not the platforms your GCs use.

Would it mean more data entry?

Invites come in by forwarding the emails you already get, so nobody retypes the project, the GC and the bid date. Your existing bid log comes in with one spreadsheet import. CrestBid doesn't log in to any GC's portal; it works from the invite emails you forward and the files you import.

Does CrestBid use AI to price my bids?

No. CrestBid doesn't do takeoff and doesn't price your work; you set every number. The Bid Inbox reads each invite email to fill in the job details, and you check it before it goes on your board.
